During this tour, you will enjoy traveling along the Boka-Kotorska Bay, a stunning view and also you’ll visit a town of the sun, wine and greenery – Trebinje.
We are starting from Budva, then we’ll pass through the Boka-Kotorska Bay and go on to the border (we’ll take a several photo breaks).
When we arrive in Trebinje, we’ll visit the Tvrdos Monastery, which has existed since 4th century, where the famous Serbian enlightener Saint Vasily of Ostrog took the veil. You’ll have the opportunity to feel the energy and history of this incredible place, enjoy the silence and taste the local wines from monastic cellar, which is famous by production of wine, from grapes that grow on the sunny valley of Trebinje.
On the way back from monastery, you’ll see the ancient water wheels on the river Trebisnica, which are still active.
Ahter that, we’ll visit the Monastery Hercegovacka Gracanica, located on the hill Crkvina, which has a truly unique history.
From this wonderful place, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning views of the whole town, river Trebisnica and the Aslanagic’s Bridge and experience a unique history that adorns this place and its environment.
The view is absolutely breathtaking! And the character of this town will amaze you, so you’ll know it was worthed to visit it!
In Trebinje you’ll find peace, silence and tranquility. No rush and crowd. A beautiful mountain view and incredible transparency of the river Trebisnica, won’t leave you indifferent.
Then we’ll take a lunch break, so you’ll be able to taste local delicacies.
For example, a fresh trout caught in the river Trebisnica.
After that, we’ll go for a walk through the Old Town, where you’ll be able to see its attractions (one of them is Osman Pasha’s mosque from the 18th century).
In Old Town you’ll be able to eat a delicious ice cream.
On the Square of the Poet, you’ll see the magnificent trees, whose height you’ll be quite surprised and which represent the visiting card of the town and protect from the summer heat at the same time.
We will also visit the Orthodox temple of the Holy Transfiguration of the Lord, located in the town’s garden, in a square where local weddings have been maintaining.
During the sightseeing, you’ll be able to feed the ducks on the river Trebisnica, and to take a several photos of wonderful river, mountain and town as well.
