We are suggesting to you an exciting journey to the ancient cities and fortresses with absolutely unique atmosphere.
Old Bar – is an opendoor museum which has preserved the memories of historical events. While walking along antique streets, you’ll feel the special energy of this place, for sure.
The entire town is surrounded by mountains and olive trees.
It managed to preserve its charm, although it was almost completely destroyed in 1878. And that can be confirmed by the walls of the fortress with their glow as well as inner streets – with curved paths and unique view after each curve.
The stroll through the Old Bar won’t let you indifferent, and the wonderful view that you will see will remain for a long time in your memory.
On the streets which will lead us to the walls, you’ll find a plenty of souvenirs that are comletely different from those you are used to see in coastal towns. Also, you’ll be able to taste olive oil and fig’s jam.
An annual winter festival for olive trees is also held in the Old Bar.
After that, we are going on to the southernmost town in Montenegro – Ulcinj.
It’s located near the border with Albania and it’s completely different from the towns that are suited in Budva’s Riviera and Boka Kotorska Bay.
In order to fully experience the colorfulness and uniqueness of Montenegro, you must visit every town on the coast.
In Ulcinj you’ll have the opportunity to visit the ancient fortress, from which you’ll enjoy stunning views, in order to fully experience its history.
Then we’ll visit the longest beach (13 km) in Montenegro and entire Adriatic coast. Whose name is absolutely matched with its size – the great beach. The uniqueness of the beach in the area of Ucinj is precisely a volcanic origin as well as sand – which is darker than the other ones and it’s called „black sand“. This beach gives a therapeutic effect to the musculoskeletal system.
You’ll be also having a free time to relax and swim on this beach.
